Peppermint London has also received brand new Donkey images from Bugaboo showing it in all 3 configurations: single, duo (toddler and baby) and twin mode.
It has been designed to meet the needs of the modern day parent who wants one pushchair to do everything. It has a hugely increased storage space by simply expanding the telescopic chassis and also the ability to convert from single to double in a matter of seconds.
If you can't wait until the Bugaboo Donkey hits the high street and want to be one of the first in the country to see this amazing new product in the flesh, we'll see you there!
Bugaboo have finally launched video of the new Bugaboo Twin, Peppermint saw the new Bugaboo Donkey at the Cologne nursery fair last week Bugaboo have named their new Twin the Bugaboo Donkey, I'm sure we will get used to it over time.
The New Bugaboo Donkey is a single which can become a twin or be a twin. Bugaboo have worked on this for the last few years and they have stuck to a side by side format features an expanding chassis meaning the Donkey is only 60cm wide when in single mode then the Donkey will widen to 74cm to carry two kids.
Suitable for a single toddler, Newborn and Toddler or two toddlers the Bugaboo Donkey will be able to deal with almost all situations. I guess we just need to know if the Bugaboo wheeled board will fit as well?
As a single the new Bugaboo Donkey has been well thought out, in single mode it will feature a carry cot for newborns and toddler seat simliar to the current Bugaboo Cameleon which will face both the parent and the outside world. The new additional storage basket mounted to the side of the toddler seat or carry cot this works fantastically and will offer you all the additional storage you need.
The new Donkey has a new one piece fold and the ability to stand when folded or a two part fold in the traditional Cameleon way.
The Bugaboo Donkey will also have car seat adaptability and features 4 air filled tyres which are less likely to puncture using a new inner tube and tyre combination Bugaboo have developed. With its 4 large tyres the Donkey will be able to cope with most surfaces and having had a mess around while the Bugaboo guys weren't looking it seems to be a breeze to fold and push.
If you have bought the Bugaboo Donkey as a single Bugaboo will be selling a double pack which will convert your single Donkey into a Twin Donkey. This will include a second carry cot and toddler seat and covers.
The Donkey chassis will widen to 74cm and what were your storage basket mounts will not fit an additional carry cot, toddler seat or car seat, simple really. In twin mode the Donkey still has the option to mount it seats facing towards or away, the Donkey will still fold in one piece and stand.
Prices in the UK are still yet to be confirmed by Bugaboo but i think for the complete kit RRP's will be over £1000 and as always a long list of accessories will make the Bugaboo Donkey one of the most desired double buggies on the streets.
The Bugaboo Donkey is Robust, adaptable, good on any terrain, has great storage and something that will be loyal to you for a long time... Now i get it.

As a single buggy, it’s the same 60cm width as the Bugaboo Cameleon, but it has more storage space – there’s a side luggage basket that expands as well as an under-seat basket. When used as a twin buggy it’s 74cm wide, which compared to most, is narrow for a side-by-side buggy.
