Sleek, light and compact the Phil and Teds smart buggy looks to be a big hit in 2010. The multi-travel system uses a brand new unique AEROCORE seat pad the first of its kind.
This uses an ultra-lightweight, hypoallergenic, waterproof pad that offers unrivalled comfort for your child.

The Smart buggy can also be used with a Phil and Teds Peanut carrycot and will eventually take a car seat.

Do the zip on accessories for the hood of the P&T's Vibe also fit the Smart Model?

    Thanks

    Becks

Posted on May 4, 2010 at 2:37 pm

  • Daniel says:

Hi the Phil and Teds Vibe accessories will not fit the Smart buggy, the Smart is a much smaller buggy and does not have a zip on the hood. We do have a Smart buggy demo in our store on Northcote road, London SW11 if you are local.

    thanks

Hi, we have just fitted the Lascal Maxi buggy board to our Phil and Teds Smart buggy demo, the board fitted with no problems at all we have mounted on the uprights. There is a reasonable amount of room for the toddler to stand but i feel the fit is compromised as the Smart Buggy does not have height adjustable handles bars. If you have any other questions let me know.

  • Helen says:

Hi there. we have the P&T Dash & Maxi Cosi Seat. will existing attachments do the trick or are additional ones required if we order the smart buggy? I take it delivery to ireland is not a problem?

    Helen

Posted on July 13, 2010 at 10:18 pm

  • Daniel says:

Hi Helen, the Phil and Teds Smart buggy uses a different car seat adapter to the Phil and Teds Dash so you will need to buy the Smart buggy ones to attach your Maxi Cosi car seat.

I am interested in fitting the buggy board to the smart as I have very lazy 4 going on 5 year old who refuses to walk when tired and a 2 year old in the buggy. I am quite short in height at 5 ft 3 do you think it this will be feasible? Or should I be looking at another light weight buggy altogether?

  • lynn says:

i bought the smart in july when it came out for my large one and a half year old...the seat unit is very small and his bum only just fitted into it...i was gutted as its the nicest and easiest pushchair i had but he refused to get in it after a bit even with a seat liner in it..the seat is very hard and not comfortable, i wish they would make the seat unit larger and a bit softer then i would rush to buy it again....

    hey,
can you use any car seat with the adaptors on the phil and ted smart buggy?

  • Lisa says:

I've just purchased the P&T Smart for my little boy, who is a tall [but slim] 16 month old. Let's put it this way thank goodness he's not chubby! The seat is very, very narrow!, although in defense of the pushchair he's very comfortable.

It's a beautiful pushchair and a delight to push.

Hi, at the moment you can only get the adapters for the Maxi Cosi car seats for the Phil and Teds Smart buggy. click on the link to see them on our website

Posted on October 13, 2010 at 11:22 pm

  • Hi, I have been looking at the smart buggy. I read that they will be releasing a verso adaptor for it in early 2011, which will make the seat rear facing and will lie back further. Is this true, I am expecting a baby spring 2011, and if true, then this is the buggy for me.

Posted on October 25, 2010 at 10:01 pm

  • Daniel says:

Hi, Phil and Teds will be launching a revised smart buggy called the Verso, Peppermint does not have a confirmed launch date for the new Phil and Teds Verso but as soon as we have more info we will let you know.

Posted on October 26, 2010 at 12:02 am

  • ellen says:

hi can u confirm if the verso will be a new model of the smart buggy or just an adapter to allow for rear facing (per strollers and prams website).

i am due in feb 2011 and may hold off for the new model if in fact they are to launch a newer version of the smart.

    Thanks!

Posted on November 16, 2010 at 7:10 am

  • Daniel says:

Hi Ellen, The Phil and Teds Verso is based on a Smart buggy chassis with a seat unit which will reverse. This seat unit will be available as a retro fit to all current Smart buggies. I hope this helps.

Posted on November 16, 2010 at 1:01 pm

  • Nicole says:

Hi, I was just wondering if the verso will be a whole new pushchair and an add on option to existing smarts or just an add on adapter. I want to get this pushchair and if the functionality will be the same will get the chair and then add on but if it will be a whole new pushchair will wait.
