Free Rider

Free Rider in Buggy board mode

The Mountain Buggy Free rider is a genius of an idea, Why?? Well you must all be familiar with the every popular Micro Scooter three wheeled kids scooters. Any kids over 3 wants to be scooting about the pavements around the UK. These offer the Child freedom to move around, keep mum happy as it makes the local shop fun for kids or the school walk even more interesting.

The biggest problem I see when walking around is what do you do with it once you have dropped junior off to school or they are just too tired to push themselves along.  Most of the time you will see parents hang the scooter over the handle bars of their prams or buggies, push the scooter along side them whilst the 3 year old is standing on a buggy board.

The guys at Mountain Buggy have solved this problem with the Mountain Buggy Free Rider.
Call it a micro scooter which becomes a buggy board or a buggy board which becomes a micro scooter, the solution is simply genius.  In the first instance its a kids scooter,  2 front wheels and one rear for stability. Steering and a brake for safety.  Add a clip and the Free Rider will turn into a buggy board for your child to stand on when their tiered.  More importantly once you have dropped junior off to school it means no more balancing acts trying to keep the scooter hanging on the handle bars.  Just Clip the Free Rider to your buggy and push it home.

The Mountain Buggy Free Rider will have various attachments which will make it compatible with most strollers and buggies but this list has not been confirmed to us yet.
