Phil and Teds Explorer now with one handed folding

The Phil and Teds Explorer now features a one handed fold this has been made possible by the Explorers all new chassis and folding mechanism, chassis release catches have been moved to under the main seat unit and a suitably place carry handle added.  This means that folding the Phil and Teds Explorer will be easier than ever.

The Phil and Teds Explorer has under gone some major changes to its main seat unit, now a contoured, vented Seat Performance system™ provides increased support for good posture while its shape and seat liner help maximise airflow to reduce the build up of heat and moisture.

New Explorer Seat Performance System with height adjustable harnesses

The new Explorer Seat Performance System also features easy to your height adjustable harnesses.  Harness adjustment is so important to keep your toddle comfortable when strolling.  The Explorer’s system is easy to use and can be adjusted on the move.
The Phil and Teds Explorer also features and new adjustable recliner which is a truly variable recliner, seen on the current Dash models the Explorer’s recliner will mean you will be able to get your baby or toddler into any desired position from a true lye flat newborn position to sitting fully upright.

As all Phil and Teds in line buggies the Explorer will still be able to carry a single newborn, Single toddler, Newborn and toddler and two toddlers.

Maxi cosi Easybase 2 now fits Pebble and Cabrio fix car seats

The New Maxi Cosi Easybase 2 has replaced the popular Easybase, function still stays the same but unlike the Easybase the Easybase 2 will now fit a Maxi Cosi Pebble car seat and Cabriofix.

The Easybase 2 makes fitting your car seat a breezy on a daily basis, if you are very car dependant its a must.
Fitted to your vehicle using your standard 3 point harness the Easybase 2 will stay fitted in your car and offer you a click in click out car seat function.
No more messing around with seat belts everyday.  The Easybase 2 is a semi universal base so its best you have the fit checked by a trained car seat fitter.

The New 2010 Phil and Teds Explorer with second seat kit.

Following the news Peppermint London received recently about the New 2010 Phil and Teds Explorer we now have the first images of the New 2010 Explorer Buggy.

The Phil and Teds Explorer has replaced the Sport and will be available within 6 weeks.  The New Phil and Teds Explorer pictured has some great new features, a pop out sun hood on the new Explorer will be able to shade your child in the front seat and doubles kit now comes complete with its own sun hood for the child in the back.  The main seat hood now also has the same “follow me” function as the Vibe buggy meaning you will be able to shade your children more easily than every before

Phil and Teds been busy and it seems like the new Explorer will be the next must have Phil and Teds buggy.  The Phil and Teds Explorer has an all new chassis which now has a one handed folding mechanism, a feature we have seen in some single buggies but it has now come to the Phil and Teds range, a vastly improved peddle style brake system which is easy to operate.  The Explorer now also shares a Vibe style follow me sun hood, this sun hood is completely adjustable and features a pop out sun visor making it much easier to shade your baby or toddler.

If you are using the Explorer as a double the new Explorer double kit will also now come supplied with a sun visor for the child in the back seat but does loose the ability to recline.  Reclining however on the main front seat has been vastly improved upon the Sport, the Explorer now features a Dash style variable recliner a great improvement on the sport’s system.

Another major change to the Phil and Teds Explorer is the ability to mount a car seat on the front of the buggy and still carry a toddler in the back, not something which was recommended in the Sport, Dash or Vibe.  This has been made possible by shifting weight distribution around so the buggy will now not tip is you have the larger child in the back seat  with a car seat on the front.  This feature will mean the Phil and Teds Explorer is a true travel system for a baby/toddler combo.

Quinny Zapp Xtra reclined

The Current Quinny Zapp is one of the few strollers which will fit in over head lockers on aircraft and folds small enough to fit in the front of a Porsche 911.  Im not sure if the new Zapp will be as small when folded as the main seat now seems to have some structure and cannot be compressed.  As soon as we get one we will let you know.

Now the good news, for all your current Quinny Zapp owners Quinny will be making the seat unit for the Xtra available as a part, this means you will be able to convert your normal Zapp into a Zapp Xtra and have all the benefit’s of reclining and facing your baby/toddler.

Phil and Teds Sport buggy, to be replaced within 6 weeks

Peppermint has been informed that Phil and Teds are about to launch a replacement for the popular Phil and Teds Sport buggy.

The Phil and Teds Sport has been on the market for nearly 2 years now and is due a replacement, the New Phil and Teds buggy possibly named the Phil and Teds Explorer the Explorer will feature improved reclining over the current Phil and Teds Sport model similar to the Dash model and will also feature a sun hood for the second seat when transporting 2 toddlers.

As soon as we have more information on the New Phil and Teds Explorer (if that’s what they call it) we will get it blogged.

The New Phil and Teds buggy is due to land in the UK mid August so will be with Peppermint shortly after this.

The Stokke® Sleepi™ is ideal for London properties, when you buy a Stokke® Sleepi™ complete you are supplied with a small crib which is suitable from birth to 6 months, once your baby outgrows this use the extenders provided to make your Sleepi™ bed.  This has 2 mattress heights and eventually you can remove one side so your toddler can climb into bed themselves.

The Sleepi™ complete is supplied with 2 mattresses and all the wood work to take you from newborn to 3 years (approx).

The only thing you will need to decide on is the colour of the additional Stokke® fabrics.
