1st April 2010 hails the arrival of the brand new Stokke® Xplory® buggy. As we all know, the new Stokke® Xplory® is a pram that will certainly turn heads wherever you go thanks to its unique look and innovative design. It is now available in six amazing new colours so you can see why we at Peppermint have been really looking forward to reviewing the latest addition to the Stokke® family for a while now.
It still features the same height adjustability for the handlebar for you and the seat unit for your baby but they have re-designed the fabrics for a sleeker and more sophisticated look. The new look is softer and friendlier and it is generally a more balanced design. The chassis is largely the same but most of the changes revolve around the seat unit and carrycot.
The hood for both seat unit and carrycot is much larger with a multi-purpose protector which can be folded in or easily be zipped on and off. This creates a great windshield when the weather is breezy and the protector itself creates a lovely cocooned area for your newborn baby. The apron on the new Stokke® Xplory® carrycot has also been changed so that it protects baby from the elements. The guard on it is higher so that the wind can’t get to your newborn. The new Xplory® footrest on the seat unit can be adjusted with one hand so it is much easy to turn the seat around and to take the seat unit off when you need to rotate it around the handlebar.
New accessories are also being released along with the new Stokke® Xplory® 2010 so there are a whole bunch of new stuff that you can get with your buggy. A breathable sheepskin liner is now available for the seat unit and carry cot and there’s multi-coloured blankets which attaches to the hood as well! The new look changing bag can now be fitted straight onto the buggy and it looks like there’s alot more space to put all your baby things in it.
Stokke® have also expanded their range of seasonal accessories as well. A summer and winter kit is available to purchase for your Stokke® Xplory® buggy. The new Stokke® Xplory® summer kit comes with Terrycloth cover for the seat, textile, hood, sunscreen and parasol in 3 different colours. This is great for the upcoming summer months as the sunscreen and parasol are adjustable according to the position of the sun. Not only that but it has a protection factor 50 against the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB radiation. The Summer kit hood has a breathable mesh so that baby is well ventilated and the terry cloth cover is cool and easy to remove and wash. The new Stokke® Xplory® winter kit won’t be available until later on this year but we’ll keep you posted so watch this space.
